Yes, it's helpful for the community!

It's also a great way to encourage posting and submitting content to the forum. I all in for it and know for a fact that badge systems and other features that award members for posting, have positive effects.

Anyways, this should defiantly be something that comes out of the box with the forum software.

SMS notifications would be great but I'm not sure if a member would like to get a SMS notification for every reply. I dont think full replies made on the forum can be sent through SMS due to the limit, but I'm not sure.

I would love if ezForum had it's own mobile site. Maybe call is ezCellForum?

But anyways no matter what it's called, I have a feeling it's going to be very useful.

Brilliant.

I believe this will allow webmasters to arrange their forums as this.

Board 1 -> board.domain.com
Board 2- ->board2.domain.com

If it does then that will be a great feature. There are handful of admins who are always requesting features such as those and they usually run gaming forums. They want to give games or clans, their own forum but allow all site members to gain access to those "sub forums" that are hosted on a subdomain. 

This will be very appealing to them.

It would be great if it had the Xenforo approach to theme design. Xenforo allows admins to change colors and other theme related settings straight from their CP.

Also, I think it would be beneficial in ezForum had a basic theme and a very sleek modern theme out of the box. Although the modern theme could wait till the feature, I think ezForum defiantly needs a basic theme that is customizable by noob admins as well as pros.

It would be great if ezForum had dedicated staff members whose only job is to review mods. The SMF apparently have to do other duties from what I know and have seen but this shouldn't be the case with ezForum.

By having a quick reviewing process, ezForum will encourage developers to submit their modifications and basically get them to increase their development production.

If such a a feature can be implanted then yes, it would be pretty cool.

I am thinking it would be cool to have a shared userbase system when you have multiple forums that you control.

You could share bans,members, configuration settings. Would be an easy way to grow a network of forum sites.

When did you first make your first forum? And what Software?

I remember when I setup my first forum for an online game was the free version of IPB which was my favorite forum for a long period of time till it went paid.

Prior to that had some small boards on ezboard and angelfire.
