Great!

So to make it clear, I can install SMF modifications and themes on ezForum? It's all supported? :o

Are there any special features that will come with this alpha version that's not in SMF?

Also can I upgrade an SMF forum into ezForum?

Thanks.

Alpha version is mainly just to get the release out there and has better improved default settings and some minor updates.

The next phase is merging new code changes/modifications into the ezForum core.

After that will complete the upgrader.

At the moment ezForum alpha is meant for a fresh install.

Focus right now for ezForum at the moment is completing the site the modifications/plugins/themes to grow the community and get the process started

Yeah same here. I think I'm going to install it and test it  out. Might upgrade my current SMF forums to it if there is a converter (shouldn't be hard to make, right?)

Yo, is there a  page that lists any planned major differences between this or SMF?

Plan on using this since SMF doesn't seem to be going anywhere when innovation is concerned.
